In my search for an MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) controller, I came across the Keith McMillen QuNEO Red. They displayed their MPE by having artist and songwriter Lealani perform on it to show us how cool it is. I've never tried finger drumming to this degree myself so I was thoroughly impressed with her ability to write this song, sing and finger drum this rhythm! So I dug a little and found out she actually has a music video to this song of hers. And not just 1 music video, but many bizarre and wonderfully crafted videos! 😃
I couldn't get her song out of my head! 😂 I love the animation and her style of singing. She reminded me a little of Björk but with a different storytelling style. I love it. Go check her out to hear more of her songs. She just finished doing some touring around USA in July 2023 and she adds more music, art and whatever she feels like to her Instagram and Youtube pages. I really enjoy musicians like this because they do whatever they want and express their art how they feel!
